Someone asked me about info to help equip a HUD Upgrade: Enhanced Target Acquisition that comes from TIM in Biomare so I thought I would also post it here. And by the way, TIM is a mean mutant killer.. will need some help or experience to take him down, he's deep inside Biomare dungeon.
okay you'll probably want implants for:
eye - rifle OR aimed shot, shiny
right wrist - rifle OR aimed shot, bright
left wrist - rifle, faded
right hand - aimed shot, faded
to decide between aimed shot and rifle is what you think you will need more, for most players, it will be rifle as a high QL vision enhancer takes care of the aimed shot.. if you are a trader you might be able to focus on aimed shot for implants and use wrangles to get more rifle skill
you will require perception skill to put on a targeting scope - vision enhancer, they sell them up to QL 125 in shops but you might need a higher one, and you can get them as mission reward. fixers and adventurers have perception buffs.. there's also SAM batteries that can help and bracer of amplified sound comes from the giant white dog in the temple, it helps with rifle some but also aimed shot and perception, pick up 2!
a level 80+ tsakachumi rifle adds 20 points to rifle skill and there is probably a gun that can help some with aimed shot too
here is the name of buffs that are helpful:
wrangle - 131 points to rifle (trader/agent)
take the shot - 130 points to aimed shot (agent)
unexpected attack - 120 points to rifle OR snipers' bliss - 50 points to rifle & 15 points to aimed shot (agent)
rifle expertise - 20 points to rifle
aimed shot expertise - 20 points to aimed shot
blood makes noise - 107 points to perception (fixer/agent)
karma harvest - 130 points to perception (fixer/agent)
and if you are level 25+ ..
lupus oculus - 120 points to perception (adventurer/agent)
.. this buff requires you to first be in the form of a wolf!
so anyways, when you equip the HUD Upgrade from TIM.. the vision enhancer will be replaced by it
