ALRIGHT! LISTEN UP!

Our motto, "DEFIANT OMNIA VINCIT" is in Latin. Knight said tons of my little Latin translations all the time. Also, he always wanted me to keep ya'll edgimakayted, so here's a bunch of Latin Quotes...

DEFIANT OMNIA VINCIT - Defiant conquers all!!!
DEFIANTE PRO BONO PUBLICO - By Defiant, for the good of the people.
COGITO ERGO NOM - I think, therefore I NOM.
07/15/09 Update
MINIME DEFIANT SOLUS STANT - No Defiant stands alone.
08/30/09 Update
OMNIUS PRO UNI, ET UNUS PRO OMNIA - All for one, and one for all.
POPULUS STULTUS EST... SED DEFIANT SUMUS - People are stupid... but we are Defiant.

I'll post them in here as I think of them/remember them. I've taken two years of Latin, but unfortunately, it stops there. My schedule this year is too full of art classes to take Latin III! Sad

Peace & Thought,
Your Beloved Laerr

Nom isn't Latin, it's just a phrase meaning "to eat" used by lots and lots of nerds like us. Cheesy

Nom originated in the cartoon series "The Simpsons" and has become part of the USA English slang.

OH NO!

Unfortunately, I can't take Latin III this year. However, any and all Latin I remember will continue to appear here!
